Katy Richfield Fine Art Events

With over 20 years of experience in the international art world, I bring expertise in curating exhibitions, producing landmark cultural events, and fostering creative collaborations. My career has taken me from founding three contemporary art galleries in Sydney, to working with Christie’s Auction House, curating Sir Paul Smith’s art exhibitions, and most recently leading major exhibitions and events for the Moco Museum Group in London, Amsterdam, and Barcelona.

I have had the privilege of working with some of the world’s most celebrated artists — from presenting Pablo Picasso at the Musée Picasso in Paris to curating exhibitions of Warhol, Kusama, Hockney, and Abramović — while continuing to champion emerging voices. My practice bridges the historical and contemporary, blending art historical expertise with a fresh, innovative approach.

Through Katy Richfield Fine Art Events, I create experiences that go beyond the traditional exhibition. Guests are invited to meet artists, explore studios, and enjoy unique evenings that reimagine what an art opening can be. From launching Marina Abramović’s latest digital art project MAE to art fundraising events for LGBTQIA+ artists featuring performances by Boy George, Beth Ditto, and Olly Alexander, to art immersive yoga events with Sadie Frost , and The Art Insider series, every event celebrates inclusivity, diversity, and the transformative power of art.

My work is defined by creativity, ambition, and a commitment to excellence — all rooted in the belief that art is for everyone.

If you are a gallery, museum, artist, sponsor, charity or brand looking to create an unforgettable cultural event, I would love to collaborate with you on something truly unique that your guests will never forget.
