CHRIS LEVINE LIGHTS UP FRIEZE WEEK AT GEORGE

14 October 2025 - During Frieze Week, private members club George, hosted an exclusive evening with internationally acclaimed artist Chris Levine. Presenting a masterful exhibition of his luminous portraiture, including the latest in his Kate Moss series - a lenticular portrait created with a pioneering 3D lens - and joined by an extraordinary line-up of contemporary icons, David Shrigley and Daniel Lismore - both subjects of his latest works.

Guests gathered to experience Levine’s meditative exploration of light, perception, and presence, with the artist offering an exclusive preview of his forthcoming book, Inner Light: The Portraiture of Chris Levine, due for release later this month. The exquisitely produced monograph celebrates Levine’s groundbreaking practice and features his most iconic portraits, including Lightness of Being, his serene image of Queen Elizabeth II, alongside portraits of Grace Jones, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and others.

Curated in partnership with art curator Katy Richfield Fine Art and Mumble Forum, an award-winning women’s community, curating compelling art curated events , the evening opened with an intimate in-conversation between Chris Levine and Katy Richfield, offering rare insight into the artist’s creative philosophy and his fascination with the intersection of art, technology, and consciousness.

"In my career I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most inspiring personalities, some of which were in the room tonight.

With my portraits I always try to capture the inner light of my subjects, from the Queen, Kate Moss to Daniel Lismore. I’m excited to present a selection of portraits for a limited time at the beautiful George and unveil the latest in the Kate Moss series, a lenticular first of its kind using a new 3D lens and a personal favourite in my body of work.” - Chris Levine

Following the talk, guests continued the celebration at The Hound Bar, where Daniel Lismore took to the decks for George’s Frieze After Party, bringing together art, fashion and music in true Frieze Week spirit.

In partnership with Pomelle Aperitif, guests enjoyed a refreshing selection of cocktails, including Pomelle Pink Negroni’s and Pomelle Sour, perfectly complementing the evening
